Commission Terms of Service
General Commission Terms
1. Artwork Rights
If the rights to the artwork are not purchased, the client has no right to sell the piece in any shape or form and make profit off it, or upload, use or share it without proper credit and attribution unless agreed otherwise with the artist in writing via email.

2. Cancellations
If at any moment their order is unable to be fulfilled or the client wishes to cancel the order, they will be provided with a partial refund, amount of which will be determined according to the number of hours spent working on the illustration

3. Digital Artworks
There will not be any physical goods nor goods to be shipped if the commission is a digital artwork; any printing, tattoo work or similar services required to use the artwork as intended are the responsibility of the client and are not included in the price of the service.

4. Payments
The total payment is due within 30 days of the invoice being sent, the payment will either be made upfront or in installments depending on negotiations between the artist and client. Any work on the project beyond discussing ideas will not begin until the payment is recieved in full.

5. Copyrights
The artist retains the rights to publish the piece as their own creation, with proper indications of content copyright attributed to proper owners either by a) text applied to the image of the piece, or b) in the piece’s description.

6. Revisions
Revisions to the artwork beyond the sketch phase that are not due to the fault of the artist may be billed separately
​
7. Shipping Costs
If the client requires the original artwork of a traditional piece to be delivered to them the shipping and packaging costs will be added to the total invoice cost

Additional Terms For Commercial Commissions
1. Usage Rights
By purchasing commercial usage license to the artwork, the client is granted non-exclusive rights to profit off, upload, use, and share the artworks. Any grant of rights is conditional upon receipt of full payment and compliance with the terms and conditions.

2. Grant of Rights
Upon full payment, the artist shall deliver the digital files necessary to enable the clients usage rights granted herein.

3. Reservation of Rights
The artist retains the right to display all work they have created for this project, including preliminary materials and final art, in print and online for portfolio and publishing use

4. Credits and Attribution
The artwork may not be used without proper credit and attribution unless agreed otherwise with the artist in writing via email.

5. Alterations
Alteration to the artworks shall not be made without consulting the initial artist, and the artist should be allowed the first option to make alterations when possible. After acceptance of artwork, if alterations are required, an additional fee may be charged over the original amount.
6. Unauthorized Use
The client will indemnify the artist against all claims and expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising from uses for which no grant of rights was requested in writing or for uses exceeding the authority granted by a release
