Payment Options

Payments are processed securely via PayPal which accepts most major card providers, and purchases are processed in British Pound Sterling (GBP £) at the checkout.

 

There is now a currency drop-down on the main shop page that will convert the prices listed to other currencies for international customers, however the final total will be subject to exchange rates set by PayPal so be aware there may be minor variations between the two beyond my control

Processing times

(i.e. how long it takes for your package to be posted by me)

 

I'm updating how the shipping processing times work to spread orders out in a way that's more manageable for me as the amount of orders I receive has been increasing over time, please read below for more info:

 

Previously all orders had been packaged chronologically in order of who ordered first and because of this there was a single dispatch time for all orders, with this new system alongside this I'll also start prioritising orders based on which shipping class is selected. 

 

(RUSH) Tracked 24, (RUSH) International Tracked: 24 - 48 hours

Tracked 48, International Tracked: 3 - 6 business days

1st Class, International Standard: 5 - 10 business days

International Economy: 1 - 3 weeks

 

Note: please do not expect my shop to compete with online retail powerhouses, this is very much an indie shop being ran by a sole artist and my processing times are going to reflect that - a lot of love and care goes into every package no matter the size so it can take a bit of extra time (especially if you're ordering during a shop update or sale)

All packages are sent via Royal Mail (which operates under Parcelforce Worldwide/GLS in some countries) and the following services are available:

1st Class: 1 - 3 Business Days

Tracked 48: 1 - 2 Business Days

(RUSH) Tracked 24: 1 Business Day

Europe

International Economy: 2 - 12 Weeks

International Standard: 3 - 5 Business Days

Customs and Import Taxes


Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm also not responsible for any delays due to customs and this will need to be handled by the buyer.

 
Returns & Damaged Goods

1. Returns and cancellations


1.1 Return Times

For items already shipped:

Contact me within: 14 days of delivery
Ship items back within: 31 days of contacting me


1.2 Order Cancellation Window

If you wish to cancel an order and be immediately refunded this must be done before the package has shipped, otherwise any refunds will not be given until the item has been returned to me. To avoid this please ideally contact me within 24 hours of ordering.


1.3 Exceptions

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't send replacements or refund for:


- Custom or personalised orders
- Digital downloads


1.4 Returning the items

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

1.5 Refund Payment Method

Refunds are sent via PayPal only, and can only be refunded to the original PayPal account that was used to make the purchase.

2. Damaged/Lost Goods

 

2.1 Reporting a damaged package

If your package was damaged during shipping and the items inside have arrived in bad condition I'm happy to send a replacement under the condition that you provide images of the damaged parcel and items, otherwise I cannot file a claim with my shipping provider and get reimbursed

 

2.2 Reporting a lost package

Should a long enough period of time go by for an untracked parcel to assume that the package is not simply delayed, but is in fact lost in transit (this time period being 14 business days longer than the shipping estimate) please contact me and I will open a lost package claim with my shipping provider. I will be happy to send a replacement, but please be mindful of the disclaimer below.

2.3 Refunds for lost packages

To discourage online shopping fraud I do not offer refunds for lost packages, only replacements.

2.4 Replacement coverage

The total value of the items I can replace depends on the shipping you select as they have different amounts of insurance coverage, they're as follows:

1st Class, International Economy & International Standard: Up to £30

48 Tracked, International Tracked: Up to £250

Please keep this in mind if you plan on making a larger order - it is heavily recommended that should your order exceed £50 you should purchase tracked shipping.

 

While I may go slightly over these amounts in replacing items at my own expense in the name of good customer service, if you order is for example, £100 worth of items and you chose to get economy shipping, this is a risk that you've chosen to take and I may not be willing to cover the cost of sending the entire order again when only £30 will be reimbursed to me.

Other Policies

3. Orders sent to wrong address

It's the customers responsibility to give the correct shipping information, once the order has been shipped it's out of my hands and I won't resend another so please double check!


4. Artwork copyrights
When an original or custom piece is purchased, while you will own the physical artwork the copyright of the design is still retained by me as the artist. This means you cannot profit from the design or appropriate it without my consent, for example scanning and selling prints of the artwork you purchased would be strictly not allowed.

Frequently Asked Questions

How accurate are the measurements in the product descriptions?

Sizes are sometimes rounded off slightly by a margin of a couple centimetres so keep this in mind when planning on buying frames, if you need more exact dimensions for anything feel free to contact me about it.


Can I request a print/item of a certain artwork that's not listed?
Unfortunately not, these would come in batches too large to cater to the one person so unless it was requested by many people it would leave me with excess prints of the one artwork.

 

I do however have a storefront with a third party printing company where I can upload artworks on request, you can then purchase a print there and they will fulfill it on my behalf with some revenue going to myself  - Visit CosmosKitty on TeePublic

Do you offer commissions or custom artworks?

I do! I offer this in both digital and traditional mediums - click here to see my commission prices


Can you add a custom message to the back of prints, such as a birthday greeting?
I do this free of charge for anyone who asks, just include what message you want the order details along with whether you want it printed or hand written, on a slip of paper or directly on the back of a print.

Is there a gift wrap option?

Not specifically as an extra service, but all orders are already wrapped in pretty packaging and you can mention that the order is a gift in the checkout details and I'll exclude any invoices, etc.
